"What Kind of Florida Do You Want to Live In" is a ground-breaking, two-year initiative that will mobilize citizens from around the state to come together in shaping policy proposals that can make a real difference in the lives of Floridians.
Join the Conversation!
The first step in the campaign is to start a conversation among Floridians from around the state. Together, we'll identify the most pressing problems facing our state and start talking about possible solutions. We'll be looking at three main issue areas: World Class Schools, Kitchen Table Economics, and Florida's Green Future. Participants will then narrow our focus to the top two or three issues in each area and together with experts work to develop real solutions.
One great way you can join the conversation is by uploading a video that responds to our campaign's central question: "What Kind of Florida Do You Want to Live In?" Just join our YouTube group What Kind of Florida and post a video. You can talk about any issue that fits one of the three issue areas. Please keep your video under three minutes -- just post more than one if you can't fit all your ideas in that time limit.
We'll be posting your videos here and encouraging campaign participants to discuss the issues they raise. Together, we can find solutions that make Florida a better place for us all.
