Tell the Legislature to Enact Ethics and Anti-Corruption Reforms Now
Did you know that it's not a crime if a government official doesn't tell the public he has a financial stake in a vote or other official action he or she is taking? And did you know the Florida Commission on Ethics can't investigate possible misconduct until a citizen files a sworn complaint? Urge the legislature to pass tough new ethics and anti-corruption laws during the next special session or the 2011 regular session.
